Puget Sound Waterproofing installs footing drains the right way and we back it up with a guarantee for the life of your structure. Our interior footing drains solves basement or crawlspace water intrusion problems. Period.
Puget Sound Waterproofing installs a new footing drain in your home underneath your basement or crawlspace floor, along the footing. The under-floor drain provides a new path for water, relieving the pressure just like a drain installed outside the home. Putting the drain underneath the floor protects it from tree root, dirt, debris and human caused damage. The result is a permanent solution and a guarantee for the life of your structure.
To install your drain system, we remove a strip of concrete flooring around the perimeter of your basement and dig a trench.

The trench is lined with filter fabric and filled with a layer of river rock. A perforated heavy gauge PVC pipe is laid on the rock and the trench filled with additional river rock. The pipe is routed outside the house through the footing.

A heavy gauge polymer drainboard is installed three to four inches high up the foundation wall and over the footer, eliminating water intrusion from the wall-floor seam.
The floor is finished off with a concrete cap and smoothed to the same level as the existing floor.
